• SUSTAIN – Maltodextrin (a complex carb blend) helps to maintain glucose levels. Citrates speed up the conversion of these carbs into energy. Amino acids add another fuel source as well as aiding recovery, improving mental performance and reducing fatigue (by limiting the production of serotonin). Histidine is vital in the prevention of lactic-acid build up in the muscles.
• RECOVER – Vitamins C & E defend muscles from free radicals. Chamomile acts as an anti-inflammatory both during and after exercise whilst ginger soothes the stomach.
